A Part Release After Years Of Thought
Glug 'Earl of Greenock' Barossa Valley Shiraz 2013
Region: Barossa Valley, SA
This Barossa Shiraz was identified years ago as something special and was separated, matured, and bottled for later release. The reason; because it reflected the high quality of the reds from the hilly western side of the Barossa.
The central town of this region is Greenock; with the vineyards going south merging into Seppeltsfield and Marananga while north is known as Grange country, then Moppa road with vineyards petering out against the Kapunda-Truro road.
Benjamin a few years back set about creating his new concept The Earl of Greenock. Lets just say it is work in progress though for the February tasting 2018 he displayed the wine.
What is offered is the remainder of the small quantity as shown on Tasting day which when released as a new brand will sit between $16.99 and $19.99.
