Glug GH11 Individual Barrel Selection Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2016
Region: Barossa Valley
When this wine is passed to you by Parker at 2.00 in the afternoon, ‘the final blend what do you think’, you move into very dangerous as all thoughts of smell, sip and spit, disappear and you drink the glass. Such a wondrous creation however in a winery, one thing all to readily leads to another.
Very great wine, fine oak and laden with heavy fruit. Really is a dazzling display with multi layers of satisfying taste. Not much Cabernet existed in the Barossa Valley in 1950 though a famed plot of 1890 vines is still bearing north of Greenock; then in the 1970s planting began and now there are fabulous, 40 year old Barossa vineyards in their prime. I strongly recommend purchase and recommend you follow Barossa Cabernets.
